; RESOLUTION URDERITVG A PART CF P(AGNOLIA AVENUE
VACATED f1ND ABA1QD�i�IED.
The City Council of the Incorporation City of Lynwood
hereby resolvea as follows;
- Section 1: That at the hour of 8:00 P.I�I. o�clock, upon
the 4th da.y of D�arch, 194'7, the City Counc.11 of the said_ City oY
- L.ynwood held c� hearing in the Clt,y Ha,ll of said Clty, upon the
resolution of Intention No. 2025 wherein the said City Council did
declzre its intention of vacating �nd abandoning a part of P�4agnolia
Avenue, located in �id Gity, said hearing being continued to P>�arch.

Section 2: That at said hearings and examination of the
. record, this City Council found that a copy of said resolution of
Intent3on, No. 2025, had been duly publisn.ed and posted as by law
required.
Sect3on 3: This City Council further finds that no person
appeared or ob,�ected, eitlzer by letter or other written c�mmunication
to the vacating and abandoniag part of DRagnolia Avenue, a.s proposed
in said resolution.
Section 4: This City Council further finds that that
portion cr Ti�agnolia Avenue lying betiveen the southerly prolonpation
of the easterly line of Lot 2, Tract 11198 as shown on map recorded
in Book 197; Page 46 of bIaps, Records, Los Angeles County, California
and a line 40 feet ea.eterly of and parallel to center line of Bullis
F.oad as said Center line is shotivn on map of said tre.et, within the
corpo?^ate limits of the City of Lynwood, CaliPornia, is unnecessary
£or �resent or prospective public street purposes and tha,t the public
interest and necessity and convenience require, and the City Council
of said City hereby declares its intention to vacate and abandon that
portion of se.id street.

- Section 5: DIOPt, THEREFqRE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City
Council of the said City of Lynwood, California he:eby ordere that
• that part of Magnolia Avenue as herein describefl, dedicated for public
' purnoses, and ivhich is ahown on T��Iap No. 401 on.file in the office of
the City Clerk of sald City, and to �Rhich all persons are hereby
referred, be, and �the same hereby is vacated and. abandoned.
Section 6: It is further resolved that the City of Lymvood
hereby reserves ��zn easement through, over, and upon said portion
of P,4agn�lia. Avenue as described above for the purpose of operating,
constructing, and/or maint�?ining public utilities therein. ,
Section 7: Tt is further resolded that the City Clerk of
the eaid City of Lynwood, shall cause a certified copy of this order
to be recorded in the office of the County Recorder, Los Angeles
County, California. "
