TO OPEN AivD P�IAIidTAIN A SPEC?AL ACCOUNT l�IITH THE
SECURITY FIRST NAT_TONAL BAbTK OF LOS ANGELES,
LYN?f(OOD BRP.NCH, Ai\iD ADGPTITdG RULES AND REGULA-
TIONS REGARDING THE SAARE.
. The City Council of the City of L,ynvrood does resolve as
folloc+s:
Section 1: Tha.t pursuant to Section 885, ?�4unici,pal Cor-
`poration Act (Deering's General Lavra 5233, Section 885) Allen R.
Floyd, as Treasurer of the City of L,ynvrood be, and he is hereby
authorized and directed to open and maintain a bank account at the
. Seourity First National Bank of Los An�;elee, Lynwood Branch, under
the headin� ° Treasurer, City of Lynwood, Departmental Trust Fund"
into which the collections of the
Police Department
City Clerk
City Juclge
. License Colleetor
, _ Court Clerk
VJater Clerk
or a,n,y otner dep�rtmentr.or officer, may be deposited by the respective
officers at frequent intervals durin� each month with advice thereof
being furnished to the City Treasurer by the respecti�re officers or
employees upon the making• of each deposit. Plithdrawals from such
fund may be made by the City Treasurer only, on order signed by the
. proper department head. and for the followin� purposes only:
(A) The making of refund of bail which has been forfeited
or of other rePundab2e deposits, revo�vino• fund advances authorized
by the City Council, or for the correction oP clerical or ministerial
errors in.the receipt of payments to the City,
(b) The making of settlements with City fund.s at the end
of eaeh calendar month for collectiqns accumulated during the month.
` Section 2: That all funds deposited by said Treasurer an3/or
deposited by any of the other municipal officers hereinabove named,

cr their a�ents and assistants, ah�ll� be deemed to have been deposited
in said Treasurer's account as an active deposit un�er and_ eubject
to th.e provisions of an act entitled, "An Act to authorize and cen-
troll the deposit in b�nks of money belonging to or in the custody oP
any county, city or county, city, town, municipality, or other public.
or municipal corporation within this state and to repeal all Acts or
parta of Acts in conflict with thie Act", 1933 n. 642, as `
amended, Deering's General Laws, Act 2834a.
Sect2on 3: ThAt all funds deposited in said account shall
be governed by the terms of that certain agreement for active deposit
of City funds, dated April 17, 1946, by and between Allen R. Floyd, ,
acting in.his.official capacity as Treasurer of the City of L,yn�ood
and the Security Firet National Bank of Los :�ngeles, Lynwood $ranch,
�nd any and all,agreements which may be hereinabove referred to, which
said agreements shall be in full accord with the provisions of said
Ac,t of the Legislature and Acts amendator,y thereof.
, 5ection 4: That a certified copy of 'this Resolution be �
forwarded to said Security First tQa,tional Bank of Los Angeles,
Lynwoocl Branch and that said Security First National Eank of Los
Angeles, Lynwood Branch, be requested to deliver to the,City oi Lynwood
a farmal acceptance of said account and the monies to be deposited
therein, pursuant to the terms.hereof.
Section 5: The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption
of this resolution and thereupon and thereafter the same sh�,ll be
in full force and effect.
