A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LYNWOOD CONFIRP?IING REPORT OF THE STREET SUPER-
INTENDENT RELATIVE TO WEED ABATE.MENT FOR THE
1942-48 YEAR. -
VJHEREAS, the City Council of the Clty oY Lynwood, on
the 7th day of January, 1947,, adopted its Resolution No. 2020 I
relating to the abatement o£ dry or drying weeds on certain lota
or parcels of land within the corporate limite of said cit3= in
accord.ance with the provisions of Act 5197 of the Legislature of
the State o£ California, as amended, and
WHEREAS, a full and complete hearing was held on said
Resolution in the time, form and.manner required by law and the
Street Superintend.ent was instructed to complete the abatement,of
such nuisance, and

WHEREAS, the Street Superintendent has caused such
nuisance to be abated has filed with the City Council an itemized
" report in writing showing the cost of weed abatement on each separate
lot and has caused a copy thereof to be poated near the door of the
Council Chamber in the Gity Hall as required by law, and
WHEREAS, a hearing was duly held on eaid report and no
. ob,�ections or portests were filed by any of the property owners to .
be assessed for said weed abatement as set forth in the Report of
the Street Superintendent, and
WHEREAS, it appears tha.t a.11 notices were properly posted
and that the proceedings were had and taken according to law, .
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Lynwood that said report of the Street Superintendent of the
City of Lynwood be, and the eame is hereby confirmed and tha.t the
costs of abating such nuisances on each of the lots or parcels of
land set forth in said report do hereby constitute special assess-

ment liens against auch propertiea.
BE IT FURT`_SER RE50LVED, that the City Clerk of the City
of L be and he is hereby directed to turn over to the Tax
Collector of the County of Los Angeles a copy of the report of the
Street Superintendent and eaid Tax Collector is hereby instructed
to add the amounta of the respective assessments to the re�ular
bills for taxes•covering the 1946-47 fiacal year on the lots
described in said report, all as provided in Section 7 of said Act
5199.
ADOPTED and APPROVED this 15th day of July, 1947,
