RESOLUTION Or THF CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LYNWOOD DECLARING ITS INTENTION TO VACATE CER-
TAIN PORTIUNS OF THE FIRST ALLEY 5'JESTERL$ OF
CARESS STREET.
The City Council of the City of Lynwood does hereby re-
solve as follo��ra:
Section l: Th2t that portion of the £irst alley tivesterly
of Cr�ress Street lying between the southerly line of Virginia Avenue
and the easterly prolongation of the southerly line of Lot 14 of
Tract No. 6575 as shown on map recorded in Book 127, Paoe 50 of Maps,
Records of Los Angeles County, California, is unnecessary for present
or prospective alley purposes and tnat the public interest, necessity
and convenience require, and the City Council of said city hereby
declares its intention to vacate and abandon that portion of said
alley.
Section 2: Th��t said portion of said alley as above
� described lying and being in said City of Lynwood is shown on Prlap
No. 401-A on file in the office of the City Clerk of said City and
to vrhich all parties are referred to for further particulars as to
the proposed vacation and abandonment.
Section 3: That the City of Lynwood hereby reserves an
easement in, upon, over and acrosa said alley above deacribed for
purposes of operating, constructing and/or maintaining public
utilities therein.
Section 4: That these proceedings are had and taken under
the provisions of Sections 8300 to 8324 and 8330, 8331, both inclusive,
of the Streets and Hi�hways Code of the State oF Calif ornia, as amended.
Section 5: That Tueaday, the 2nd day of September, 1947,
at the hour of 8:00 o'clock P. r.�. in the Council Chamber of the City
Hall in said City is hereby fixed as the time and place for hearing
any protests or ob,jections to the nroposed.vacation or abandonment

Section 6: That the City Clerk of sa=d Cit,y is hereby
directed to publish and post notice of the passage of this resolution
in the time, form and manner required by law,
