RESOLUTION N0. 2055
RESOLUTION ADOPTING SCALE OF PREVAILING V7AGES,
ETC., IN CONNECTIOIJ WITH THE CONSTRUCTION OF A
RECREATION BUILDING IN THE CITY OF LYNWOOD.
The City Council of the City oP Lynwood doea hereby
reeolve as follows:
Tha.t pureuant to the provieions of Sectlona 17'70 to 17�A7
inclueive, of the Labor Code of the State of California, said CSt9
Council hereby ascertaina the general prevailing rate of wagea �,
applicable to the work to be done in connection with the proposed
conatruction oP a recreation building in said City to be as followa:

The minimum wage paid to all skilled labor for which ratee
are not shown above shall be not less than �1.50 per hour.
The minimum wage paid to all intermediate labor for which
rates are not ahown above ahall be not leas than �1.40 per hour.
The minimum wage paid to all unskilled labor for which
rates are now shown above ahE�ll be not lees than �1.35 per hour.
All foremen not herein separately classified shall be paid
not leas than:-17� cents per hour more than the Journeyman rate for
the craft involved.

Apprentices may be employed in conformity with Section
1779.5 of the California labor Code.
Not less than one and one-half times the prevalling
. rate shall be paid for any working time of more than eight houra
during any one calendar day, and for time on Saturdays, Sundays and
the seven legal holidays, to-e:it:
New Years Day, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Lab.or Day,
Armistice Day, Thankegiving Da,y, and Chrietmas.
