RESOLUTION UF APPRECIATION TO RETIRING PUBLIC
PLAYUROUND AND RECREATION COIl�II�.4ISSION MIIvIBERS.
WHEREAS, the membera of the Public Playground and
Recreation Commission have, during the past year and a halP, worked
conscientiously and diligently toward establishing an adequate
recreation program for the residents of the City of �Lynwood, and
WHEREAS, the efforte of inembera of the Public Playgrourid
and Recreation Commiseion have resulted in lsying the foundation and
settin� the pace for a etrong program of recreation in the City oP
Lynv�ood, now -
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council on behalf
of the people of the City of Lynwocd expressea Preat anpreciation
to the firat Public Playground and Recreation Commission Por the
great aervices rendered by each of ita members in pioneering a
recreation program for thie community, and
BE IT FliRTHER RESOLVED, that a copy of this reeolution
be transmitted to eacli member oP the aforesaid Commission.
APPROVED and ADOPTED this 8th day of September, 1947.
