RESOLUTION N0. 2062
IN THE MATTER OF THE I��IPROVEn�ENT OF THE FIRST
STREET NORTHERLY OF EUCLID AVEiNE EXTEiVDING
EA3TERLY FRODn Pr.ACH STREET.
The Gity Council of the City of Lynwood does hereby
resolve as follows:
(1) That the public interest, convenience and neceseity
require ar.d the City Council of the Cit,y of Lynwood proposea to
inatitute proceediriga for the improvement hereinafter set forth.
(2) TYiat the general nature, location and extent of auch
improvement is as follows: The acquiring oP certain propertiea
through condemnation and the open�ing of a street midway between
Carlin Avenue and Euclid Avenue 'extending easterly from the easterly
line of Peach 3treet to a line approximately 640 Yeet eaaterly there-
. from and parallel.therewith, all as ahown on Plan No. 1947-E on file

. in the office of the City Clerk of said City.
-. (3) -It is hereb.y determined that no part ef the cost or
expense of said vuork or improvement is to be paid by said City oP
Lynwood.
(4) IL Sa hereby further determined tYiat the City Council
oP the City of Lynwood adopta this resolution under and in accordance
, with BLv�.'sion 4 oP the Streets and Highways Code oP the St�te of,.
California which ia known as the Special Assessment Investigation,
Limit ation end �ta,jority Protest Act of 1931, as amended. It is
hereby further determined that eaid City Council proposes to�conduct
the proceedings for said proposed work or improvement under an act
of the legislature of.the State of California knacan and deaignated as
the "Street Opening Act of 1903", as amended.
(5) The boundary or extent of the assessment district to
be assesaed to pay the costs attd expenses of said improvement is
shown on Plan No. 1947-E, on file in the office of the City Clerk

of said Gity which map ahall �overn for all details as to the
extent of said assessment district.
(6) That the City Engineer be and he Ts_hereby directed
to prepare and deliver to said City Council a written report cover-
ing work or improvement in aceordance with the provisions oP
said "Speeial Assessment Inveatigation, Limitation and Nia�ority
Proteat Act of 1931", as amended.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 8th da,y of September, 1947.
