RESOLUTION REQUESTING ACTION BY THE PUBLIC •
UTILITIES COME4ISSIUN IN THE L4ATTER OF CROSS
TOWN BUS LINES' PENDING APPLICATION FOR FRANCHISE.
WFIEREAS, the City of Lynvrood has been vitally interested
in Cross Town Bus Lines' propoaed new routea as outlined in their
applicationa Nos. 28065 and 27740 now pending bePore the Commission, I
and
P1fiEREAS, as yet there has been no action taken by the
Cornmisaion to dispose oP this case, and
WHEREA$, it ha.s been brought to the attention of the City
that Southern Cities Transit, Inc. hA.s made application to aerve
some of the same territory as outlined in Cross Town Bua Lines�
application,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Gouncil oP
the City of Lynwoo& hereby requesta the Public Utiiitiea Commission
of the State of California to give favorable consideration to Crosa
To�vn Bus Lines' application at ita earlieat convenience.
APPROVED and ADOPTED this 16th day of September, 1947,
