RESOLUTZON N0. 2064
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LYNWOOD DECLARING ITS INTENTION TO VACATE CER-
TAIN PORTIONS OF THE FIRST ALLEY NORTHERLY OF
PLATT AVENUE.
The City Council of the City of Lynwood does hereby re-
solve as follows:
Section 1: That that portion of the first alley northerly
of Platt Avenue lying between the nortlierly prolongations of the east-
erly end weaterly lines oP Lot 1?.O1 of Tract No. 3335 as shotivn on
map recorded in Book 36, Page 42 of Maps, Records of Los Angeles
�
County, California, is unneceasary for present or proapective alley
purposea and that the public intereat necessity and convenience
require, and the City Council of said city hereby declarea its
intention to vacate and abandon that portion of said alley.
Section 2: That said portion of said alley as above
deecribed lying and being in said City of Lynrvood is ahown on ivIap
' No. 401-B on file in the office of the City Clerk of said City and
to inhich all parties are referre3 to for further partiaulars as to
the proposed vacation and.abandonment.

Section 3: That the City of Lynwood hereby reaerves an
� easement in, upon, over and acrosa said alley above described for
purposes of operating, constructing and/or maintaining public
utilities therein.
Section 4: That these proceedings are had and taken under
the provisiona of Sectiona 8300 to 8324 and 8330, 8331, both inclueive,
of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of California, as amended.
Section 5: That Tuesday, the �"7tlz day oP October, 1947,
at the hour of 8:00 o'clock P. M, in the Council Chamber of the City
Ha.11 in said City is hereby fixed as the time and place for hearing
any protests or ob�ections to the propoaed vacation or abandonment
of said alley.

Section 6: That the City Clerk of eaid City is hereby
' directed to publish and post notice of the passage of this resolution
in the time, Porm and manner required by law.
PASSED and ADOPTED at the regular meeting of the City
Council of the City of Lynwood this 16th day of September, 1947.
