RESOLUTION OVERRULING PROTESTS IN CONIQECTION
WITH THF HEARING ON DEBT LIL4ITATION.
BE IT RESOLsIED by the City Council of the City of Lynwood,
California, as followa:
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Lynwood did, on
the 2nd day of September, 1947, approved an Investigation Report
under the provisions of the Streets and Highways Code Division 4,
cited as "Special Asseesment Investigation, Limitation and P.4a�ority
Protest Act of 1931" upon the proposed improvement of Otis Street,
et al, in the City of Lynwood by constructing sidea�alka, curbs, and
�utters and driveways, and
- WHEREAS, said.Report having been duly prepa.red and filed,
a hearing was held thereon by said City Council on the 7th day of
October, 1947 in the manner provided in said Act above referred to,
and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Lynwood has here-
Lofore, and on the 7th day of October, 1947, adopted its Resolution
of Report oP said hearing, w:�ich said resolution of report was, on
the 7th �ay oP October, 1947, filed with the Clerk of said City
f
� Council, all in the time, forci and manner reQuired under the pro-
viaions of said Act above referred to; and
WHEREAS, leas than thirty dAys have expired since the date
oY filing the laet said report;
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood
does hereby resolve as followa:
(1) That the proteata made at said hearing on said
Investigation Report be, and the same are hereby overruled;
(2) That the public Snterest, convenience and necessity
require the doir� and making of the public improvement set forth
and described in said Report above referred to and subatantially in
the manner therein set forth;

(3) That the pro3ect, coneiating of the proposed improve-
ment above referred to, is feasible;
(4) TY� t the eatima.ted total amount propoaed to be
aesessed upon any or all lots or parcels of land for the costs and
expenses of said proposed impronement does not exceed the limitation

of indebtednesa eatabliahed and aet forth in said P_ct above referred
�to and will not, by the levy thereoP, cause said limitation to be
exceeded in any instance;
• � (5) That no ma�ority . protest in u�riting has been filed
by the o��ners of property proposed to be assessed to pay the costs
and expenaea of said proposed inprovement or any par:t thereof, in
the manner provided in said Act above referred to; �
' (6) That it ie hereb,y ordered that the proceedings for
the making of said propoced improvement be undertaken pursuant to
, the provisions of an Act of the Legislatures of trie State of CaliP-
ornia designated as the Streeta and Highways Code Division 7 cited
as "Improvement Act oP 1911", and amendments thereto
APPROVED and ADOPTED this 7th day of October, 1947.
