SUMMARY STATEMENT:
Council adopted a tentative budget in the amount of $16,320,694 on July 10, 2009.
Attached is the proposed FY10 budget of$16,111,988 which incorporates the changes discussed at the July
10, 2009 Council Budget Work Session, actual Growth and Annexation property tax amounts from the
County Clerk, and the actual award for the COPS grant. The complete proposed budget is posted on the
City's website for public review.
Also, attached is the recommended FY10 LOT funding from the LOT Commission; including 7 contingent
funding recommendations should revenues come in higher than expected.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Conduct the Public Hearing on the proposed FY10 budget.
Leave the Public Hearing open to accept written comments until August 20, 2009.
Accept the FY10 LOT funding recommendations from the LOT Commission
