RESOLUTION OVERRULING PROTESTS AND DETERudINING
- THAT_THE CITY GOUNCIL HAS ACQUIRED JURISDICTION
TO ORDER THE PROPOSED WORK OR I&IPROVEI�IENT.
ti"rHEAEAS, said City Council did, on the 7th day of October,
1947, adopt its Reaolution of Intention No. 2069 to order the im-
provement of portions of Otis Street, McNerney Avenue, Fracar Avenue,
Pine Averiue, and Washington Avenue, by constructing sidewalks, curbs,
and gutters, and dr.iveway aprons, and
t��HEREAS, Tueaday the 18th da.y of November, 1947 at the
hour oP 8t00 o'e�ock P,�1. at the Council Chambere in the City Hall,
in said City of Lynwood, wae the time and place aet in said Resolution
° oP �ntention, evhen and where any obJections to the propoaed work,or
improvement, or to the extent oP, the d3.atriat to be asaeased,
- -- the grades to.which the work was proposed to be done, would be.heard
by eaid City Council; and , .
WHEREAS, the City Clerk of said City has heretof ore pre-
sented and filed an affidavit oP publication of said Resolution of
Intention, aho�ving� that the eame was published according to,law; and I
WHEREAS, said City Clerk has also presented and fSled his
affidavit oP mailing noticee oP the adoption oP sald Resolution of
: Intention in the time, form, and manner, and to the peraons, all as
provided by an Act of the Legislature of the State of California� '
designated as Division 7 of the Streets and Highways Code, and cited
, aa the °Improvement Act oP 1911", and amendments thereto, and
` WHEREAS, the City Er�ineer-Superintendent of Streets ha.s
heretofore preBented and filed an affidavit ahowing that notices of
the passa�e of said Resolution oP Intention kiave been posted in the
manner provided by said Act; and

WHEREAS, at said hearing held on the lSth day of November,
1947, no protests or ob�ections were filed againet any of the thin$a
proposed to be done under Resolution of Intention No. 2069.
I40Vr, THEREF'ORE,� BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Lyn�vood that the said City Councfl has acquired full
�urisdiction to order the proposed work or improvement.
APPROVED AIdD ADOPTED this 18t2i day oP November, 1947.
