CITY OF MEDINA
RESOLUTION NO.2012-26
A RESOLUTION OF SUPPORT FOR THREE RIVERS PARK DISTRICT TO
PURCHASE THE PROPERTY LOCATED AT 1542 COUNTY ROAD 29
WHEREAS, The City of Medina recognizes Baker Park Reserve as an important
component of the regional parks system that serves residents of the City and the region; and
WHEREAS, The City of Medina recognizes that Three Rivers Park District has
negotiated in good faith and with willing sellers to purchase the property at 1542 County Road
29 as defined below:
WHEREAS, The City of Medina recognizes the property is located in the Northwest
quarter, of the Northwest quarter of Section 30, Township 118N, Range 23W, Hennepin County:
Known as tax parcel #30-118-23-22-0001; and
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City of Medina, in accordance with
M.S. 398.09.1, approves the purchase of the property at 1542 County Road 29 by Three Rivers
Park District.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Pederson
and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof:
Crosby, Martinson, Pederson, Weir
And the following voted against same: (Absent: Siitari)
None
Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
