A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD
AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER OR DESIGNEE TO APPROPRIATE AND
TRANSFER $ 70,000 OF UNAPPROPRIATED GARAGE FUND TO THE GARAGE
ACCOUNT
WHEREAS, unexpected fuet increases and increased fleet maintenance costs
have resulted in expenditure increases in the Garage Matntenance Division; and
WHEREAS, it is estimated that an additional $70,000 in funding is needed to
continue to provide fleet maintenance services and fuel; and
WHEREAS, funds are available in the Garage Fund.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD DOES
HEREBY FIND, PROCLAIM, ORDER, AND RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the City Council of the City of Lynwood authorizes the City
Manager or designee to appropriate and transfer $70,000 from the unappropriated
Garage Fund to the Garage Maintenance account, account no. 7011.45.420.
Section 2. This Resolution shall go into effect immediately upon its adoption.
Section 3. The City Clerk shall certify as to the adoption of this Resolution.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 15 day of March, 2011.
