� Be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Lyn-
- wooa, as follows:
WI-IEREAS, the City Gouncil of the City of Lynwood, Calif-
ornia, did on the 6th day of March, 1945, adopt Resolution No.
1778 relating to the �batement of dry and drying weeds on cer-
tain lots in the City of Lynwood, and .
, WHERrAS, due Notice wa.s given to deatroy such weeda
,w;
by posting "Notice to Destroy Weeds'� notices at not more than
100 feet in distanee apart as required by law, and _
VYHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for the hearing
of protests and ob,�ections to said matter, a hearing was duly
t
, ' hel�d and no written or ora.l ob,jections were made, either in
veriting or orally, to the doing of said work, a.nd
�• WHEREAS, the City Counci.l of the City of has
considered all of the facts and Ys fully informed in the mat-
ters; tha.t they ha.ve aca.uired �urisdiction to �roceed and per-
form the work of rer�oval of said nmisancea,
t�iOW, TfiEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, That the Street_Sup-
erintendent oP the City of Lynwood be and he is hereby inatruc-
ted to abate the huisa.nces described in said Resolution No.
17''l8 by having the°rweeds referred to remove, and he and his
As�istants are hereby expressly authorl7ed to enter upon pri-
vate property for that purpose.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that any property ownere shall
ha.ve the right to have any such meed nuisance removed and a-
' �ated at his o��n expense, provided such work is done prior to
the time the work is done by the Street Superintendent. If the
, work is done by the.propert5 owner, no charge shall be made by
the City of'Lynwood.
