Be it resolved by the City Gouncil of the City of Lyn-
urood, California, as follows:
WHEREAS, tne City Council of the City of Lvnwood has
heretofore, on tne _5th day of September , 1944 ac-
cepted the offer of Darwin B. Maxson '
for the purchase of all of the right, title and interest of
the City of Lynwood in and Lo certain lands lying arithin
said City;
NOW, THEREFORE, Lhe City Council of the City of Lyn-
� wood,does hereby resolve, dete:mine and order as follows:
Section 1. That the City of Lynwood shall convey to
_ the said Darwin B. Maxaon
eaid property hereinafter described, sub,�ect to conditions,
restrictionc, re; and easements of record.
That the City snall convey to said purchaser no other
or greater title to said lands than has been acquired by'
said City.
Section 2. That upon paym�nt to the Cit,y of LynNiood of
the sum.of Two Htim dred and no/100 Dollare (?$200.00)
the T�Iayor of the City of Lynwood is hereby auth-
orized and directed to execute a deed of conveya.nce of cer-
tain land hereinafter described, conveying the same a� above
specified to Darwin B. 1�4axson

on behalf of the caid City of Lynwood, and tha,t the CltT,
Cle.rk of said City i.s hereby autho.rize3 to attest �.:.i�.
deE�d and to affix the City seal of the City of Lynwood
thereto, on behalf of the said City of LynN�ood.
Section 3. Th�t the Ma,yor and Citv Clerk of said Ci.ty,
on b�ha.lf of said Ci.ty, are iiereby'authorized to �ign any
escrow agreement necessary to complete the transfer of �aid
lc�nd;,.
Section 4. 'Phat the City Clerk or said City is author-
ized to deliver said :J.eed to the grantee therein nzmed, on
beha.lf of the sc�id Citv of Lynv!oo,d, as soon as, or upon oon-
dition *hat tlie said consideration sht�ll have been paid to

� Section 5. The property conveyed by this agreement is

Lot 9, Tract 921, as per map recorded in Book
18, Pages 106-and 107, of Ma.ps, Records of Loe
Angeles County, California,
