On motion by Bentz second by Beecroft J E Riekena was agpcb ted
Mayor pro-tem.
Minutes of the month of April .were read and on motion by
Beecroft second. by Bentz anoroved as read.
It was moved by Junker second. by Pentz that the Pond of
the Marshall be annroved .
Treasurers report ,,r,,s received, read and on motion orderer'
placed on file. _
It was moved by Junker second by Pantz thpt the Clerk
place an order for 250 feet of 1'- inch fire hose with the
A Y McDoneld Mfrr Co at $1.12. cts per foot. carried.

Special Meeting;
The council met is special session at t:v Pr", upon call
of the 11ayor, pursuent to a. notice given each member of the
Council, Thich notice is on file in the office of the Torn Clerk.
The meeting was called for the purpose of considering an
Ordinance fixing and determining the rates and charges which the
Iowa Elec Light & Power Company is entitled to collect and re-
ceive as compensation for Electric energy and service furnished.
the consumers of electric energy within the Town of Well sburg, Ia.
and fixing and determining the rates which me y be charged and at
which time said rates shall become effective, and continue in
force and effect.
