PERIOD BEGIb?NING JULY l, 1945, AND EiQDI1VG JUNE

Be it resolved b,y the City Council o£ the City of LS-nwood
as 'Pollows;
SECTION 1. That the City Engineer be and he ie hereby
clirected to make and file with the Cit,y Clerk of the City of
Lynwood a r�eport in v��riting presenting the following information
regarding the furnishing oP, for a period commencing July l, 1945
and ending June 30, 1946, the service necessary to ma.intai.n and
illumina.te bv means of electric energy the suspended electric
�treet lam_os of 250 and 600 candle power, and 250 candle povrer
lamps on ornamental standa.rds in certain streets in the City of �
Lvnwood:

SECTION 2�
(a) Plans and specifications for the proposed improvement,
(b) An estimate of the cost of said improvement for
the period of time specified.
(c) A diagram shoaaing the assessment district ancl a,lso
tne boundaries and dimensions of the respective subdivieions of
land within saifl d.istrict, each of said subdivisions being given
a separate number on said diagram.
- (d) A proposed assessment of the total amount of costs
and. expenses of the proposed improvement upon the several sub-
divisions of land in �aid district in pronosition to the estimated
benefits to be received by said_ eubdivisions. Said a.ssessments
shall refer to such subdivisions upon said diagram by the respective
number thereon and it shall show the names of the owners, if knovan,
othervaise designating them as unknown.

SECTION 3. Tha.t the said contemplated improvement sh311
be had and talren under an Pet of the Legislature of the State of
California designeted. "An Act to provide for the maintenance by
municipalities of lighting systems along public streets, alleys
and other public pla.ces a.nd for the.lighting thereof by electric
current, gas or other illuminating a.gent; and for the assessment
of the costs and expenses thereof upon the property benefited and
the manner of collecting such assessments" commonly k_novrn as the
"Street Lighting Act oP 1919'� and amendments thereto, approved
h4ay 16, 191�.
SECTION 4. That the City Clerk shall certify to the
adoption of this Resolution and submit a certified copy of this
Resoltation to the Cit,y Engineer.
