Town of Gulf Stream, Florida.
Minutes of Meeting of the Town Commission held on
January 16,1945.
Meetings scheduled for March 1, April 5, May 3, June 7,
July 5, August 2, Sept 6, October 4, November 1 and
December 6th, were adjourned there being no business to
come before the Co mission.
Present January 16th,1945: W. S. Webb end Wm. J. Bauer.
The Commissioners approved the following expenditures:
Fla State Bank Safe Deposit Box #1950 year ended 3/23/45 $11.00
Ocean City Lumber Co. Materials for Frame for Map 1.44
Geo S. Brockway New Town Maps 126.95
Robert Barr Cleaning Streets 8.75
M. Dean " 13.00
E. Glass " 6.50
Martin Preston " 2.25
Milton Boone " 15.00
Wm.T.Jebb refund overpavment of Taxes 3.22
Advo Studios Repainting Town Sign 18.85
A letter of offer was submitted to the meeting from the City
of Delray Beach offering Fire Protection or Service for $500.00
per year. This offer was declined,the Commissioners considering
the fee too exhorbitant but in reply offered the City of Delray
Beach $$100.00 for each Fire Call they attended in'he Town. This
offer was submitted b- letter signed by the Mayor and Town Clerk.
There being no further business to come before the meeting,
it adjourned.
