� A RESOLUTIOIv OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LYNLrCOD, CALIFORP;IA RE�UESTING APPROVAL OF STREET
PROJECTS IN THE CITY OF LYNWOOD BY THE BOARD OF
SUPERVISORS OF LOS ANGELES COUNTY.
Be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Lynwood,
as follows:
WHEREA5, the City of Lynwood; California is contemplating
the improvement of several atreets as hereinaPter mentioned for which
the City does not have money sufPicient to do said work, and
WHEREAS, THERE AR.E gasoline tax funds over which the
Ho m rable Board of Supervisora of Los Angeles County, California has
control, which has been appropriated. in the 1944-45 and 1945-46 Budget
to the City of Lynwood, California, in the amount of $21,037.81 for
the purpose of helping to pay the costa in connection with improve-
ment of Streets within the City of Lymvood�
IdOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RE80LVED by the City Council of the
City of Lynwood that the streete upon which said improvements are to
be made are as follows:
l. The construction of bituminoua macadam, or pre-mix
rock and oil pavement, on Carlin Avenue, between Santa Fe
A�aeriue and Alpine Avenue. Eatimated cost of improvement ,�1,230.00.
2. The construction of bituminous macadam, or pre-mix
rock and oil pavement, on Etaclid Avenue, between Santa Fe
Avenue and Alpine Avenue. Estimated cost of improvement �924,00
3. The.,construction of bituminoua macadam, or pre-�ix
rock and oil pavement, on Alpine Avenue, between E�clid Avenue
and Cedar Avenue. Estimated cost of improvement, �1,170.00.
. 4. The conatruction of bituminous macadam, or pre-mix_
rock and oil pa.vement, on Palm Avenue, between Alpine Avenue
and angle point west of Long Beach Boulevard. Eatimated cost,
of improvement, �612.00.
5. The construction of bituminoua macadam, or pre-mix
rock and oil pavement, on Louise 3treet, between Bullis, Road
and Flr Street, Estimated coat of improvement �492.00.
6. The construction of bituminoua macadam, or pre-mix
rock and oil pavement, on Alma Avenue, between Otia Street
and San Vincente Avenue. Eatimated coat of improvement, �675.00
7. The conatruction of bituminous macadam, or pre-mix
rock a nd oil pavement, on Loa Flores Boulevard between Long
Beach Boulevard and Peach Street, Estimated cost of improve-
ment, �150.00.

11. The construction.of bituminous macadam, or pre-mix
rock and oil pavement, on Franklin Street, from Fernwood Avenue
to Los Flores Blvd. Estimated coat of improvement, �446.76.

improved��by the City of Lynwo.od are of.general County lnterest,
BE IT FURTHER RE50LVED by the City Council of the City of
Lynwood that the Honorable Board of Supervisors of the County of Los
Angeles are hereby requested to appropriate the sum of �21,037.81
• gasoline tax funds or from any other funds avallabTe to the City
, of Lynwood for the purpose of improving said streets as authorized -
under Section 1680 of the Streets and Highway Code of the State of
California, and under such other provisions of law as may be
apPlicable. ,
, BE IT FURTHF.R RLSOLVED that the City Clerk of the City
oY Lynwood ahall certify to the adoption of this Resolution, and
he is hereby directed to prepare,a duly,certified and authentic�ted
copy of this Resolution and mail it to the Honorable Board of
- Supervisors of Los Angeles County, and to the Road Commisaioner of
said County.
