Be it resolved by the City Gouncil of the City of
Lynwood_, a.s follo=�s:
Li%HEREAS, heretofore the City Council of the City of
Lynvaood; by proner proceedings had and taken, called for bids
. for the furnishing of the servlce necessary to naintain a_nd.
illuminate by means of electric energy certain�lights in said.

City of LYntivood, and .
VIHEREAS, due and legal advertisement has been given
in the pr•emises calling for such bids, and
- VlHEREAS, pugust 7, 1945 was the d.ate,on'which such
bids vJere to be received, opened and rublicly decla.red, and .
� i'dHEREAB, one bid only ha.s been filed in the nremises

for doing such �vork, to-wit: The bid of the Southern Califor-
nia Edison Gompany, Ltd., which �as the only bid filed, and
_ P;HEREAS, on August 7, 1945 the said City Council ,
dt;ly opened the bids in said matter,,to-�vit: The sa.id bid of
said Company, and publicly declared the same, and
14'HEREAS, the sald City Council deems said bid of `
said OoT�par.y to be a rea.sonable bid and ahould be accepted.
NOW, TnEREFORE, the said bid of said Southern Ca.lif.
ornia Ev.ison Company, Ltd„ is hereb,y accepted and the contr2.ct
for saicltvork as called for in said proceedings, is hereby a-
� wa.rded to said Southern California Edison Co., Ltd., at the
rates and in the rnanner specified in its eald bid,
The Mayor and the City Clerk of sa.id City are hereby
ordered and directed to execute such contra.ct in and for the

City of Lynwood.
The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this
Resolution.
