In the matter of the Proposed�Improvement of that
property in Tract 10503, in the City of Lynwood, lying South
of Ferm�rcod Avenue a.nd between Bullis Road on the �Nest and
N?uriel Drive on the East, excepting Lots 1 and 109 to 116
incl�a by constructing curbs and gutters completely within
the above deacribed boundary.
Resolution Proposing to Institute Improvement Proceedings

and Directing Preparation of Report:
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
LynvJOOd, California, as Yollows: •
1. That the nublic interest, convenience and
necessity requires, and the City Council of the Ci.ty
of Lynwood prouoses to institute oroceedings for the
improvement hereinafter set Porth.
2, That the genera.l nature, location and extent of
sucn br•onosed improvernent is as Yollows: the construction
of curbs and gvtters along the streets a.nd a.11eys, including
all interse¢tions of said streets and alleys, in the County
of Los P.ngeles, City of Lynwood, State of California, to
wit: All of that �ortion of Tract No. 10503 in the City
of Lynwood as rzcor ded in the County of Los Angeles and
lying South of Fernwood Avenue and betv�een Bullis Road
on the P�est and Muriel Drive on the East, except Lots
1 and 109 to 116 inclusive.
3. That the nature, location and extent oP such
proposed improvement is particularly shown on Pla.n Map
No. ��1�.�� on file in the office of the City Clerk of
the City of Lynwood, which ulan is open for inspection
by all interested persons and to vahich plan reference is
hereby made Por all particulars relative to said improvement,

4. That the City Council of the City of Lyn�vood pro—
poses to do the above work or improvement by contract, the
cost of which is to be paid by special asaesament unon
benefited property; that the contractor shall furnish all .
materials, labor, supplies and equipment necessary to do
the above work or improvement.
5. That it is hereb,y determined tha.t no part of the
cost of said. improvement is to be paid by the City of
Lymno o d. "
6. That the whole of the cost and expenae of said .
improveneY�t is to be paid by special assessment uoon bene—
fited propertiea.
7. That it is hereby determined th�.t the Statttite under
which it is proposed to conduct the broceedings for said_
pronosed improvement is that Act of the Legislature of the
State of California known and desi�;nated as the '�Improvement
Act of 1911", approved April 7, 1911 (Statutea of 1911,
page 730), and all acts amendatory thereof and supplementary
thereto, �vith bonds to be issued as authorized under the
provisions of said Act, and that it is hereby determined
that it is proposed to adopt the alternative procedure set
out in Section 3A of said Act for the doing of the r��ork
authorized thereunder. •
8, That the boundary or extent of the district orlands
to be specially asseased to pay the costs of such proposed
improvement, or any part of such cost thereof, are described
as.follows:
All of tha.t portion of Tract No. 10503 in the
City of Lynwood as recordediri the County of Los
Angeles and l.ying South of Fernwood Avenue and betv�een
Bul11s Road on the West a.nd P.kuriel Drive on the East,
except Lots 1 and 109 to 116 inclusive. •

9. That the City Engineer be and he is hereby
appointed, d_esi�nated and ordered to prepare a.nd deliver
to said City Council a written report upon the said pro-
nosed improvement in the form prescribed by and in accord-
ance ��iith the provisions of the °Special Assessment Invest-
igation Limitation and �ajority Protest .Act of 1931",
as amended.
