IN THE �IAxTER OF TfiE PROPOSED IMPROVEBHENT OF
THAT PROPERTY IN TRACT 10503 IN THE CI'PY OF
LYNPJOOD, LYING SOU'PH OF FERNWOOD AVENIJE AND
BETWEEN BULLIS ROAD ON THE WEST AND MiJRIEL
DRIVE ON THE EAST, EXCEPTING LOTS 1 AND 109
T� 116 INCLUSIVE, 'SY CONSTRUCTING CURBS AND
GUTTERS,
RESOLUTION ABANDONING PROCEEDINGS
� � Be it reaolved by trie City Council of the City of Lyn-
wood, California, as followa:
, WHEREAS, the City of Lynwood has heretofore inatituted
prooeedings for the construction of curbs and �ntters and all
appurtenant work, in certain streeta, alleys and interaectiona
particularly described in Resolution of Intention No. 1856
heretofore adopted by thia City Council on October 2, 1945; and .
'NHEREAS, proceedings were had in the matter of said pro-
, posed improvement under.the provisions of the "S�ecial Asaess-
ment Investigation, Limitation and Ma,jority Proteat Act of '
1931,'� as amended, (Division 4 of Streets and Highways Code),
and under the "Improvement Act of 1911," as amended, (Divi-
slon 7 of the Streete and Highways Code); and
WHEREAS� said proceedings were commenced in the contem-
plation that curbs and guttera.only were to be constructed; and
WHEREAS, it now appears by a petition on file with the
City Clerk, a ma,jority of the property owners no�v desire sidewalks
also be included in the pro,ject.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood
doea hereby resolve as follows:
Section 1. That the proposed pro,ject and proceedinga
for the doing of the work and making the iadprovements,.as
aforesaid, and as specifically'proposed and described in °eao-
lution No. 1839 of this Cit,y Counci], adopted P.uguat 7, 1945,
entitled "Resolution Proposing to Institute Improvement Proceed-
ings and Directing Preparation of Report," and in Resolution of
Intention No, 1856, adopted 0ctober 2, 1945, be, and.the same
is hereby abandoned,
Section 2. The aPoresaid Pro�ect, the aforesaid resol8-
tiona and all proceedings, ordin.ances and resolutions appurtenant
thereto are her,eby annulled and rescinded.
APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 16th day of October, 1945.
