City Hn1T of said City of Lynvaood. Said Resolt;tion' and plans are
hereby referred to �or.a.full and detailed d,escription of sa.id pro-

posed work and for the grade to x�hich tne u��ork is to be done a.nd are.

, Section 2. .That, nursuant to tne provisions of Sections 3a and
b of the °Improvement Act of 1911", as amended, the City Council of
theCity of LynN�ooc9. proposes to do the above raork, or improvement, by
contraet; no contribution oi either la.bor or ma.terial H•ill be made
by the City, anc? the entire cost of said improvement is to be paid _
by special assessments upon benefited property.
Section 3, 911 of the �vork,, or improvement aforesaid, describ-
ed in Section 1 hereof sha.12 be done in-accor@ance s+fith and to the
gra.de sho�n on Pla.ns a.n� Specifica.tion No. 1945B for the improve- .�.
ment of the aforesaid streets, avenues, alleys and intersections by
'. the construction oi' sanita-ry seu+ers, house cortnections and appurte-
nant work as -3escribed in Specification 1945B, on file in the office
of the City Cler?� of the City of Lynv��ood, California.
• Said Plans and Specifications are hereby referred to for a full
and detailed description of said proposed work, or improvement, and
for the descrintion of tY�e grade to which the tvorli is to be done
a.nd are made a p�..rt thereof,
Section 4. The �^aork, or improvement, for the furnishing and
delivery by the Contractor of all labor, ma.terials and sunplies,
shall be furnished and delivered in accordanee c�ritlz Plans and Spec3-
fications No. 1945B �'or f�rnishing and delivering materials in con-
nection with the improvement`of s2id streets, avenues, alleys, a.nd `
intersections by the construction sanitary s��^;ers nousA connections

Section 7. Tiie City Council he fletermines and declares that
serial bonds sna11 be issued in the manner and form orovided in the
°Improvement Ac`c of 1911", as amended, bearing interest at the ra.te
of six per centtim per annum to represent each asse�sment of twenty-
five dollare (�?5.v0), or over, remaining unpaid for thirt,y days
after the date of the warra.nt. �aid seria,l bonds shall extend over
a period ending nine years iro�a the second day of Ja.nuary next suc-
ceeding the ne,ct October fifteenth following their da.te. Said bonds
• and intereet ther�eon shall be paid at the office of tne .City�Treasurer
and the same sha11 be disbursed U» him, all as nrovided in the ��Im-
nrovement Act of 1911°, ae amended.
Section 8. The proceeding� for the �.foresaid proposed aaork,
or improvement, shall be taken under an Act of Legislature of the
State of California. desi�na.ted a.s the "Improveneiit pct of 1911'��,
apnroved April 7, 1911, and amend_ements thereto, j
Section 9, mhe City Clerk shall post a notice, conspicuously,
for five days on or neas tne coL�ncil chamber door of said City
Council, inviting sealed proposa.ls, or bSds, for doing tne work
herein ordered �o be paid for by Gpeci�l assessments on benefited
�ro;oerty as aforesa.id (consisting of furnishin� and del.iver�ing all
labor, materials a,nd supplies, a.rid in accordanae with said. Flans
a.nd Specifications No. 1945B; shall cause notice inviting ,r,roposals,
and referriY to i,he said specifications on file, to be published
twice.in the Lyn�a�ood Press, a. weekly newspaper publiehed and clrcu- _
lated in sa.id City of Lymvood and hereby designa.ted for that ptarpose; .
� shall require in such notice� that each proposal; or bid, offered be
accompanied by a. eheck, pa.yable to said City of L certified

by a responsible ba.nk, for an amount which shall not be lesa than ten
per centum of �he �ggregate of such proposal, or bid, or by a bond
for said amount and_ so payable, signed by such bidder and two sureties,
who shall ,�ustify before a.n,y officer competent to administer �.n oath,
in double sa.id amount, and over and �bove all statutory exemptions;
and shall fi� a tii?ne for tha opening of at;ch bids not less than ten
days from the time of the first publication or post�.ng of such
notices.
