. Be it resolved by the.City Council of the City of Lynwood,

W'HEF.EAS, nc�rsvant to an Act of the Legislatiure of the State
of Cali£ornia, approved. April 24, 1937, a_nd known a.s the "La.bor
• Code", the Gity Council of tre City of Lynwood is required to
aseertain the p;enera.l prevailin�; ra.te of per diem w.-:ges a_nc1 the
. genera.l prevailin� rate of per fliem t��a�•es for legal'holidays and
' overtime �ti�ork, in this loc<:lity, fei°. ea.ch craft or type of laborer,
v��or'_�man �or mechanic needed to execute the contra.ct for furnishing
and delivering certain materials a.nd supplies in connection tc=ith
the improvement of that property by the construction of vitrified
clay pipe sanitary se�aers, together with house connections, ma.n-
