CITY OF MEDINA
RESOLUTION NO.2012-50
RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR THE
LORETTO CREEK WATER QUALITY IMPROVEMENT PROJECT
AND DIRECTION TO SOLICIT BIDS
WHEREAS, the Hakanson Anderson, Inc. has prepared plans and specifications for the
Loretto Creek Water Quality Improvement Project;
WHEREAS, said plans and specifications have been presented to the Council for review,
comment and approval; and
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF MEDINA
MINNESOTA THAT: The plans and specifications for the Loretto Creek Water Quality
Improvement Project are hereby approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF MEDINA
MINNESOTA THAT: The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to prepare and publish
in the City's official paper an advertisement for bids for the aforementioned improvements based
on the approved plans and specifications. The advertisement shall specify the work to be done,
shall state that the bids will be opened at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, September 21, 2012 at the Loretto
City Hall, 279 Medina Street North, Suite 260, Loretto, MN 55357. No bids will be considered
unless sealed and filed with the City Clerk and shall be accompanied by a cash deposit, cashier's
check, bid bond or certified check payable to the City of Medina in the amount of five percent of
any such bid in response to the advertisement.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member
Martinson and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof:
Crosby, Martinson, Pederson, Siitari
And the following voted against same: (Absent: Weir)
None
Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
