Minutes of the Town Commission held on May 2,1946.
The minutes of the previous meeting held on March 23rd, were
read and approved.
Mr. C. Y. Byrd Town Attorney, reported re: the "Smith" accident,
he had assembled testimony from various people and in view of the
fact that the highway at point of accident showed an 18 foot
clearance, the impression was that the car was spoeding and out
of control.
C.Y.Byrd and Wm.J.Bauer were authorized to get bids on clearing
and widening two bends in the road on the North Limits of the
Town.
The zoning ordinance presented and read for the first time at a
meeting held on March 23rd, was a,-ain read for the second time
approved and passed as of this date. %
The Commission adopted an abandonment Resolution on Sate Road
#140, said resolution to be drawn up by C,Y.Bvrd.
Present at this meeting were Mayor W,S.Webb,
Vice Mayor L.Seton Lindsay
Town Clerk Wm.J.Bauer
Town Attorney C,Y.Byrd.
There being no further business to come before the commission, the
meeting adjourned.
