Section 2. The City Council of the City of Lyncaood does
hereby a�certa.in and determine that the general prevailing rate of
per diem wages for each craft or type of laborer, workman or mecha.nic
employed on legal holidays and for overtime work on sa.icl improvernent
is one and one-half times the general prevailine;rate of per diem
tivages for such craf t or type of laborer, workman or mecha-nic hQr�-
� in specified.
Section 3. The general prevailing rate of per diem v��ages .
provide3 herein is based upon a �vorking day of eight (8) hours, and
in the event laborers, workmen or mechanics are emplo�red less than
eight (�) hou?°s pe_ da.y, the per diem wages for such employment shall
be deemed to be that fraction of said rate that the number of hours
of employmeni� bea.rs to eight (8) hours.
