A R&50IUTION FIXING G OPENING AND CLOSING
HOURS OF THE CITY OFFICE.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL. or HOAR, UTAH:
1. The City office ehall be open for busiees from 9:00 A.M.
to 5:00 P. IL on every day except Saturday, Sunday and
legal holiday.
2. Oa any Saturday immediately following the mailing out
of monthly water -sewer: -garbage se oc hills, the City
office may he open from 9:00 A. M. to 12:00 noon, for
the benefit and convenience of the public. Ore all other
Saturdays the City Office shall be closed, in accordance
with Saturday closing regulations for County and Cbty
offices throughout the State.

RESOLUTION
A RESOLUTION SETTING FORTH THE HOURS OF WORK AID
CONDITIONS OF AUTHOR/ZED LEAVE FOR CITY EMPLOYERS
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF HOAB, UTAH:
1. HOURS, Except that all employees of Haab City are on 24-
heuc call, the normal work hours for an employee shall
be 40 hours in any one week.
(a) Overtime shall not be paid nor shall the City be re-
quired to give an employee corresponding time off for
required hours worked in excess of 40 hours per week.
(b) The normal schedule of days worked and days off for the
various departments shell be worked out by the depart -
dent head or Council supervision in conjunction with the
City Recorder.
2. VACATION. Full-time employees shell be entitled to vacation
es follows:
(a) After sic months, in the first year of his employment with
the City as employee shall be entitled to one full meek
vacation time with pay.
(b) In each successive year thereafter, an employee shall be
entitled to two full weeks vacation with pay.
3. SICK OR EMERGENCY LEAVE. Each full-time employee, after six
months with the City, shall be entitled to one day per month
sick or emergency leave with pay, the same to be cumulative
to an amount not to exceed 12 days in any one year.
(a) If an employee shall be sick and unable to work, or for
any reason absent, it shall be his duty to so advise his
supervisor prior to the start of the working shift.
(b) When an employee hha11 be sick and absent for a period
of three (3) or more consecutive days, he shall be re-
quired to furnish to the City Recorder, a doctors
statement concerning hie health and justifying his
absencer, and return to work, before he shall be eligible
to receive pay therefor.
(c) Emergency leave involving one gull day or more shall
be granted only upon written Request and Authorisation
signed by the employee's supervisor and countersigned
by the City Administrative officer, ea;cept that in cases
involving three (3) or more consecutive days absence,
the same shall be required to be approved and counter-
signed by the Mayor.
I. HARDSHIP O_t UNUSUAL CASES. Haere the terms and conditions of
this resolution do not cover a given instance, the employee or
his supervisor may matte request of the City Council for special
consideration. Method of handling and approval shall show in
the minutes.
