The Wellsburg Tbwn Council met in regular session on May 5,
1969, with Mayor Riekena presiding and Councilmen Freese, Van
Deest, Claassen, Eckhoff, and Huisman present.
Minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved as
read on a motion by Eckhoff which was seconded by Freese.
Motion approved.
On motion by Van Deest, seconded by Claassen the following
bills were approved for payment:
Richard Claassen, Postmaster, stamps
Delbert Hippen, blading snow, labor on blade
Claus Janssen, use of machine, labor at sewer
Ackley Quarries, rock
State Hygienic Laboratories, water analysis
Rooks Impl. and Appliance, repair police radio
Meint J. Bakker, asphalt and diesel fuel
Clary Concrete Materials, asphalt
Wellsburg Herald, financial report and print-
ing of minutes
Henry Hippen Auto and Oil, snow plowing and
pea gravel
Brown Supply Co., Inc., water mains, hydrant,
and supplies
Aeilt Terfehn, salary
Herman DeVries, Salary
Henry J. Grobe, salary
B and H Skelly, gas and oil
United Telephone Co., toll calls
Iowa Electric Light and Power Co., electric
service and gas

The report of Justice of the Peace Milton Neymeyer was read
and filed.
Motion was made by Eckhoff and seconded by Huisman for
adjournment. Motion carried.
