HomeMy Public PortalAbout2023-93 Reso Title And Summary School Lake 3rd PUDResolution No. 2023-93 September 19, 2023 Member Cavanaugh introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: CITY OF MEDINA RESOLUTION NO. 2023-93 RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING PUBLICATION OF ORDINANCE NO. 717 BY TITLE AND SUMMARY WHEREAS, the city council of the City of Medina has adopted Ordinance No. 717, an ordinance amending the School Lake Nature Preserve Conservation Design-Planned Unit Development District pertaining to Lot 2, Block 3, School Lake Nature Preserve; and WHEREAS, Minnesota Statues § 412.191, subdivision 4 allows publications by title and summary in the case of lengthy ordinances or those containing charts or maps; and WHEREAS, the ordinance is three pages in length and contains a map; and WHEREAS, the city council believes that the following summary would clearly inform the public of the intent and effect of the ordinance. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the city council of the City of Medina that the city clerk shall cause the following summary of Ordinance No. 717 to be published in the official newspaper in lieu of the ordinance in its entirety: Public Notice The city council of the City of Medina has adopted Ordinance No. 717, an ordinance amending the School Lake Nature Preserve Conservation Design-Planned Unit Development District (CD- PUD) pertaining to Lot 2, Block 3, School Lake Nature Preserve. The ordinance establishes requirements for a proposed Outlot which is proposed to be divided from the parcel at 2600 Parkview Drive such that the Outlot may be owned in common by any owner within the School Lake Nature Preserve CD-PUD district. The full text of the ordinance is available from the city clerk at Medina city hall during regular business hours. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the city council of the City of Medina that the city clerk keep a copy of the ordinance in her office at city hall for public inspection and that she post a full copy of the ordinance in a public place within the city.
