AV�NUE TO BE UACATED AND ABAIvfiON�D. '

AS FOLI.�OtiVS:
SECTION 1.
That, at the hour of 8 p.m. o'clock, upon the 2nd day of
April, 1946, the City Council of the said City of Lynwood, held a
hearing in the Council Chambers of the City Council of said City, upon
` the resolution and ordinance of intention, No. 1912, wherein the said
City Council did declare its intention of vacating and abandoning a
part of Santa Fe Avenue, located in said City.
SECTION 2.
' 2hat at said hearing and egarilination of the record, this
City Council found that a copy of said resolution and ordinance of
intention, No. 1912 had been duly published as by law raquired. That
a notica of said resolution and ordinance had been duly published and
posted as by law req_uired. .
' SECTION 3. .
This City Council further finds that no person appeared or
objected, either by letter or other written communication to the
vacatin� and abandoning part oP Santa Fe kvenue, as proposed in said
resolution and ordinance.
SECTION 4.
Thia City Council further.finds that that part of Santa Fe
Avenue in said C'-ity of I,ynwood, and lying and being northerly of Lynwood
Road in Lot 11 of the Commerce Trect is unnecessary for present or
prospective public street,purposes and that the public interest and
necessity and convenience require this City Council to vaeate and
abandon said part oP Santa Fe Avenue. '

_ NO'N THEREEORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of

the said City of Lynwood; Californie hereby orders that that part of
Santa Fe Avenue, lping and being northerly of Lynwood Road, in Lot 11
of Cosmnerce Tract in the City of Lynwood, California as designated
on County Surveyor's Map No. 8974 of Los Angeles County and as shown
on Diagram No, 1 of Vacatiott Proceedings on file in the office of
the City Clerk of said City of Lynwood, California,.be,-and the same
hereby is, vacated and abandoned.
SECTION 6.
It is further resolved, that the City"Clerk o£ the said
City of Lynwood, shall cause a certified copy of this order to be
recorded in the office of the Gounty Recorder, Los Angeles County,
California.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at the regular April 2, 1946 meeting of the City
