S'PREETS OF MAJOR INiFOFcTAT?C� FOR b1.INTENAD?CE UNDER THE , ONE-QIIEIRTER CENT GASOLINE TAX AZLOC�TION. i^7I�i3E�S, the City of Lynwood has additional streets which should come under the classification of streets of ma,jor importance: and, . �r]HEREAS these additional streets are shown on the attached map and described as folloN�s; (a)` California Avenue from Fernwood 1»Svenue to the north city limits, a distance of approximately 4,200 1't; ! " (b) Abbot Road from Century Boulevard to the east city limits, a � distance of approximately 7,600 ft; (c) Carlin Avenue from. Santa Fe Avenue to Bullis Road, a distance of approximately 3,800 ft; (d)'" Caress Street from Fernwood Iivenue to Century Boulevard, a distance of approximately 2,000 ft;�(e) Locust Street f rom Century Boulevard ' � � to Los Flores.Boulevard, a distance of 2,700 ft; (f) I�os Flores `- Boulevard from Locust Street to Atlantic Avenue, a distance of approximately 1,200 ft. Streets (d}, (e), and (f) are in reality one continuous traf£ic chanriel and should be considered as one general - street: �(g) Santa Fe Avenue in its new location f rom. its inter- � section at State Street to its terrninus at Century Boulevard as r indicated upon the map of the Regional Planning Commission; (h) Platt r kvenue from Long Beach Boulevard to Century Boulevard;, (i) Norton Avenue from Zong Beach Boulevard to the new aligruuent of Santa Fe Avenue, a distance of approximately 2,400 ft. � "` THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Lynwood that these said streets are hereby adopted to be classified as "Streets of Major Importance" and said stTeets shall be submitted to the Division of Highways to be included as Streets of Major Impor�ance and to come under the one-ouarter cent ' gasoline tax allocated for streets of major importance other than. State Highways and said petition ie hereby approved �d the n�Tayor - and City Clerk are directed to sign on behalf of said City.
