' cast in favor. of said proposition, and 893 votes cast against said ' proposition. . _ , � . . � � . � -4.- TI�REFORE, in accordance therewith the City Council of the City of Lynwood does hereby declare that the total ffiumber of votes cast in favor of said proposition are in excess of the number of votes cast against said proposition; therefore, the City Council hereby declares that said Ordinance was adopted, And it havin� been found and determined that the total number of votes cast in said Consolidated Yoting Precincts on the proposition "Shall the Ordinance, entitled: 'An ordinance of the City of Lynwood creating and establishing a personnel system for said City, setting up regulations for a civil service system for employees of the City of Lynwood and repealing all ordinances or parts of ordinances inconsistent herewith,T be adopted?" was 1922 votes. That there were 1172 votes cast in favor of said proposition, and 750 votes cast against said proposition. '1`N�FFORE, in accordance therewith the City Council of the City of Lynwood does hereby declare that the total number of votes cast in £avor of said proposition are in excess of the number of votes cast against said proposition; therePore, the Cit Council hereby declares that said Ordinance was adopted. And it having been found and determined that the total number of votes cast in said Consolidated Voting Precincts on the proposition, "Shall the salary of the members of the City Council oP the City of Lynwood be increased from �10.00 per month to �25.00 per month?" was 1992 votes. That there were 967 votes cast in favor of said proposition, and 1025 votes cast a�ainst said proposition. Therefore, in accordance therewith, the City Council of the City of Lynwood does hereby declare that the total number of votes , cast a�ainst said proposition are in excess of those cast in favor _ of said proposition; therefore, said proposition failed. The City Clerk shall enter on the records of the City Council a statement of the result of the General Municipal Election showin� the -5- . , . whole number of votes cast,,the names of the persons voted for and the number of votes given to each of such persons and the number of votes cast for an against said propositions, all as required by law. The City Clerk shall also immefliately make and deliver to- each of'such persons elected a certificate of election, si�ned by him and duly authenticated; he shall also impose the constitutional oath of office and have same subscribed to, whereupon they shall be inducted into the respective offices to which they have been elected. The City Clerk shall also cause to be published the Ordinances adopted at said election, as required by law. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this resolution.
