RE30LUTION N0. 1935
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
' LYNWOOD ItdSTRUCTING THE CITY ENGINEER OF THE
' CITY OF LYNWOOD TO n�tAKE AND FILE WITH THE CITY
- CLERK A REPORT REGARDING STREET LIGHTING FOR A
PERIOD BEGINNIIQG JULY 1, 1946, AND E'�iIDING JUNE
30,�1947.
Be it resolved by the City Council of the City of
Lynwood as follo�vs: ,
Section 1. That the City Engineer be and he ia hereby
directed to make and file with the.City Clerk of the City of Lyn-
wood a report in writing� presentin� the following information re-
garding th"e Purniahing� of, for a period commencing July 1, 1946
and ending June 30, 1947, the service necessary to maintain and
- illuminate by meana of electric�energy the suspended electric
atreet,lamps of 250 and 500 candle power, auid 250 candle power
lamps on ornamental standards in certain streets in the City oP

(a) Plans,and specificationa for the proposed improve-
ment.
(b) An estimate of the cost of said improvement Por
the period oP time specified.
(c) A dlagram ahowing the assessment diatrict and also
the boundariea and dimensiona oY the respective subdivisiona of
land within said district, each oY said eubdS.visions being given
a separate number on said diagram.
� (d) A proposed assessment of the total amount of costs
and expenses of the proposed improvement upon the several subdivisiona
of land in �id district in proportion to the estimated beneYita to
be received by said aubdivisions. Said asaeasments aha.11 refer to
auch subdiviaions upon said diagram b:y the respective number there-
on and it shall show the names of the owners, if known, otherwiae
dealgnated them as unknown. `

Section 3. That the said contemplated improvement
ahall be had and taken under an Act of the Legislature of the
Btate of CaliPornia designated "An Act to provide for the maintenance
by muniaipalities of lighting systema along public atreets, alleqs
and other public places and for the lighting thereoP by electric
current, gas or other illuminating agent; and for the asaesament
of the costs and expenaea thereof upon the property benefited and
the manner of collecting auch assesar�enta commonly known aa the
"Street Lighting Act of 1919" and amendments thereto, approved
May 16, 1919. .
Section 4. That the City Clerk shall certify to the
_ adoption of this Resolution and submit a certiPied copy oY this
Resolution to the City Engineer.
