THAT THE CITY COUNCIL HAS AC�,UIRED JURISDICTION
TO ORDEP TI� PROPO`.�'ED VIORK, OR Iiv�ROVEn��NT.
Be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Lynvrood,
California, as follows:
V�fiEREAS, said City Council did, on the 4th day of December,
1945, adopt its Resolution No. 1885 to order that the proceedings
be undertaken for the improvement of that property by the construction
of curbs, gutters, sidewalks and driveway aprons in the streets
and alleys in the City of Lynv�ood; County o£ Los Angeles, �tate of
California, described as follows:
In that property lying South of Fernvaood Avenue
and between Bullis Road on the �:'est and Muriel
Drive on the East, excepting Lots 1 and 109 to 116,
inclusive, in Tract 10503, in the City of Lymryood,
County of Los �ngeles, State of California, all as
described in I�4ap 19�5A on file in the office of
the City Clerk of said City, "
within the above described boundary; and .
V��3EREAS, Tuesday, the 7th day of i�day, 1946 at the hour of
8;00 p.m. at the Council Chambers in the City Hall, in said City of
Lynwood, was the time and place set in said Resolution of Intention,
when and where any objections to the proposed work, or improvement,

or to the extent of the district to be assessed, or to the grades to
which the work was proposed to be done would be heaxd by said Cit,y Council,
and �
�"l'rIFR�,AS, the City Clerk has heretofore presented and filed
an affidavit of publication of said Resolution of Intention, showing
that the same was published according to law; and
SNHERF.AS, sa.id City Clerk has also presented and f iled his
affidavit o£ mailin� notices of the adoption of said Resolution of
Intention in the time, forn and manner, ard to the persons, all as
provided in the Streets and Hi�hNrays Code vivision 7 cited as
"Improvement kct of 1911,", as amended; and -
�^IfiEREAS, the City Engineer-- Superintendent of Streets has
heretofore presented and' f iled an af�fidavit' shoc^�ing that notices of
the passage of said Resolution of Intention have been posted in
the manner provided by said Streets and Highvrays Code Division 7-
cited as "Improvement Act of 1911,", as amended; and
W1�REAS, no further written protests �,vere filed and no
oral protests were �ade at tfie said time and place of hearing.
