TO ORDER 'I'f� PROPOSED "a'y`ORK, OR Ih4PROV.EP,�DiT.
Be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Lynwood,
California; as follows:
Plf�REAS, said City Council did, on the 2nd day of April, 1946
adopt its Resolution B?o. 1920 to order that the proceedings be under-
taken for the improvement of that property by.the construction of
curbs, gutters and sidewalks in the streets in the City of Lynwood,
County of_Los Angeles, State of Californic�, described as follows;
- Beginnin� at the intersection of the center lines
of Bullis Road ar_d N:ortor_. Rcad, thence southerly
along the center,line of Bullis �oad to a point
of intersection with the northerly boundary of the
Pacific Electric right-of-way, thence southeaster-
ly along tkie north boundary of the aforementioned
rigA�t-of-way to a point of intersection of the
center line of Ernestine 1ver.ue, thence northerly
along the center line of Ernestine Aver_ue to a
point of intersection with the center line of an
alle,y lying betv:�een T��orton Road on the north and
Fernwood Avenue on the south, thence southeasterly
along the center line of Gertrude Drive, thence
northerly along the said center line to a point of
intersection with the center line of 11?orton Road,
thence westerly to the point of beginning�
within the above described boundary: And
�P�iiEREAS, Tueaday, the 7th day of May, 1946, at the hour of
8:00 p.m. at the Council Chamber in the City Eall, in said City of
Lynwood, was the time and place set in said Resolution of Intention,
when and where any objections to the proposed v�ork, or improvement,
or to the extent of the district to be assessed, or to the �rades to
N�hich the work v�as proposed to be done wouln be heard by said City
Council; and

an a£fidavit o£ publication of said Resolut,ion of Tntention, shovring

that the same was published accordin�, to law; and

V�HEP.E�?S, said City Clerk has also presented �nd filed his
affidavit of mailing notices of the adoption of said Resolution of
Intention in the time, forn and manner, and to the persons, all
as provided in the Streets and High�a*z�ys Code Division 7 cited as
"Improvement Act of 1911," as amended; and
PIHEREP_S, the �ity Engineer--Superintendent of Streeta has
heretofore presented and filed an affidavit showing that notices of
the passage of said Resolution of Intention have been posted in the
manner provided by said Streets and Highl^;ays Code Division 7 cited
as "Improvement Act of 1911," as amended; and
��'1HEREkS, no further written protests were filed and no
' oral pretests vrere made at the said time and place of hearing.
NOW, TI�RFFO?2E, BE IT RESULVED by the City Council of
the Cit� of Lynwood as follows:
That the said City Council has acquired jurisdiction to
order the proposed vrork, or improvement.
