Be it resolved by the CiCy Council of the Cit�r of Lyn-
wood, California, as follcws:
w'HERF�AS, the City Counci7: of the CiT,y of Lynwood has
heretofore, on the 5th � day of December , 194 4 aC-
cepted the offer of Frank L. Eddy and PlIyrtle Eddy, husband
and wife as ,joi,nt tenants,
,for the purcl�se of al1 of the right, title and interest oP
the City of Lynwood in and to certain lands lying within
sald City;
NOW, THE:REFORE, the City CounciT of the City of Lyn-
wood does hereby resolve, 3eterinine.and order as follows:.
, �Section l. That the City of Lymvood shall convey to
the-said Frank L. Eddy and Dilyrtle Eddy, husband and wife
as ,Joint tenants,
said property h�reinafter described, sub,�ect to conditions,
restriction:�, reservations and easements of record.
That the City shall convey to said purehaser no other
or gr,eater tltle to said lands than has been acquired by
said City,
Sectlon 2. That upon payment to the City of LynUiood of
the sum of Three Hundred Twenty and no/100 Dollars (�320.00) _
the P�Rayor of the City of L,ynwood, is hereby auth-
orized and directed to execute a deed of conveyance of cer-
ta9_ti land hereinafter described conveying the same a� above
specified to Frank L. Eddy and P�yrtle Eddy, husband and wife
as ,joint tenants,

on behalf of the caid Ci.ty of Lynwood, anc'� that th^ Ci*y
Clerk of said City i.s hereb,y autho.riz�d to attest 5��,i3
deed and to affix the City sec•.l of the Cit,y of Lynwcod
thereto, on Uehalf of the said Cit,y of I,ynvrood.
Secticn 3. Th�t the iu:a,yor and Citv Clerk of said City,
on bsr�alf of sa.id C..ty, are iiereby a.uthorized to �ign any
e�crow ap;reement tieceasary to complete the transfer of said
lnnds.
Section �4. That the City Clerk oi said City is author-
ized to deliver said deed to the ;rantee therein n^med, on
behalf of the said Citv of Lynv!ood, as soon as, or upon con-
dition that the s�id consideration shsll have been paid to
said C:.ty,
' Section 5. The property conveyed by this agreement ls
described as follows, to wit:
That port�on of Lot 5 of the Upston Tract in the City of
Lynwoed, County of Los Angeles, State of California, as
per map recorded in Book 11, page 154 of Maps, lying south
of the south line of Tract No. 11824, as per�map recorded
in Book 216, page 12 and 13 oP Maps, and the prolongation
of said south line across McNerney Avenue, except that por-
tion in Fracar Street as deacribed in Book 17958, page 157,
Offi.cial Recor3s, and except that portion +_n Otis Street as
described in Book 18003, page 1 of said Official Records,
and also except the North 20 feet of the remainder of said
land.
