RESOLUTION OVERRULING PROTESTS, DETERfl4INING THAT
THE P[]BLIC INTEREST, CONVENIENCE AND NECESSITY
REQUIRE THE PHOPOSED II�tPROV�dEENTS �ND THAT SAID
PROJ�CT IS FEASIBLE.
BE IT kESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Lynwood,
California, as follows:
PIHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Lynwood, did,
on the 5th day of!� December _, 194�n, direct the preparation
.of an Investigation Report under the provisions of the �lSpecial �
Assessment Investigation, Limitation and P�da�ority Prote,st Act of '
1931t upon the proposed improvement of Tract 11862, Blocks ��A"
and ��B��, Records of Los Angeles County, particularly bounded by
Bullis Road on the west, Ernestine Avenue on the East, Walnut
Avenue on the S�uth, and.the property line 11�9.23 feet North of
Platt Avenue on the North, by the construction of curbs and gutters;
and
WHEREAS, said Report having been duly prepared and filed,
� a hearing was held thereon by said City �ouncil on February 6 ,
1945 , in the manner provided in sa"id Act above referred to; and
PdHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Lynwood has here-
tofore, and on the 6th day of February , 194 5, adopted
its kesolution of Report of said hearing , which said resolution
of report was, on the 6th day of Februar.v , 191r 5, filed
w3th the Clerk of said City Council, all in the time, form and
manner required under the provisions of said Act above referred
to; and
WHEREAS, less than thirty days have expired since the date
of the filing of last.said report:

NOV�, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City o£ Lynwood
does hereby �resolve as follows: .
' (1) Tnat the protests made at .said hearing on s<iid In-
vestigation Report be, and the same are hereby overruled;
(2) That the public interest, convenience and necessity
require the doing and making of the public improvement set forth
and described in said Report above re£erred to and substantially
in the manner therein set forth;
(3) Tnat the project, consisting of the proposed improve-
ment above referred to, is feasible;
(!�) That the estimated total amount proposed to be
assessed apon any or all lots or parcels o£ land for the costs �
and expenses of said proposed improvement does not exceed the
limitation of indebtednes,s established and set forth in said Act
above referred to and will not, by the levy thereof, cause said
limitation to be exceeded in any instance;
(5) That no majority protest in writing has been filed by
the owners of property proposed to be assessed to pay the,costs
and expenses of said proposed improvement or zny part thereof, in
the manner provided in said Act above referred to;
(6) That it is hereby ordered that tkie proceedings f'or
the making of said proposed improvement be undertaken pursuant
to the provis'r�ns of an �1ct of the Legislature of the State of
California designated as the ��Improvement Act of 1911 approved
April 7th, 1911, and amendments thereto.
APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 6th day of February, 1945.
