Be 1t resolved by the Gity Couneil of the City of Lyn-
wood, California, as follows:
WHEREAS, the City Counc.il of the City of Lynwood has
heretofore, on the _lst_ day of Auaust _, 1944. ac-
cepted the offer of Charlee A. Ruby and Ralph W. Lake, as
tenants in common, so that each veill own an undivided one-ha1P
intereat in all the right, title and interest,
for the purchase of all of the right, title and interest oP
the City of Lynwood in and to certain Iands lying vrithin
�aid City; ,
N04Y, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lyn-
ivood does hei�eby resolve, 3etermine.and order as follows:

Section 1. That the City of Ly mvood shall convey to �
the said Charles A. Ruby and Ralph W�; Lake, as tenants in
common, so that each will own an undivided one-half interest ,,
in all the right, title and interest. �
said property hereinafter deseribed, sub�ect to conditions,� '
res_trictions, reservations and easements of record.
That the City shall convey to said purchaser no other

Seetion 2, That upon payment to the City of Lynwood of
the sum of Seven Thousand, Two Hundred Fifty and no/100 Dollare
(�7,250.00) the Mayor of the City of Lynivood is hereby auth-
orized and directed to execute a deed of conveyance of cer-
taiii la.nd hereinafter described, conveying the same as above
specified to Charlea A. Ruby and Ralph W. Lake, as tenants in
common, so that each will ovin an undivide�l ore-ha1P interest
in all the right,title and interest,

on behalf of the said City of Lymvood, and tha.t the City
Clerk of said City is hereby authorized to atteat said �
deed and�to affix the City saal of the City of.Lynwood ;
thereto, on behalf of the said City of Lynwood. '+
Section 3. That the �ayor and City Clerk of said-
on oehalf of said City, are hereby authorized to aign any
escrow agreement neceasary to complete t�e tra,nsfer of said
lands.
Section 4. That the City Clerk of said City is au.thor-
ized to deliver said deed to the grantee therein named,;on
behalf of the said C1ty of Lyn�vood, ae soon as, or upon con-
dition that the said consideration ehall have been paid to
said City.
Section 5. The property conveyed by this agreement ia
described as follows, to wit:
All of Lots 9, 10 and 11 in the Comnerce Tract
of the City of Lynviood, as recorded in Book 146,
Pages 49 and 50 of Maps, in the office of the
County Recorder, Los Angeles County, California, �"- "`
EXCEPT: that portion of said Lot 11 d.escribed
as, beginning at the northweaterly corner of
said Lot 11, thence along the north line of said
Lot 11, North 82 34 min., 30 aec., east 524.15
feet; thence south 7 32 min., 35 sec., east 152.
� 52 feet to the beginning of a tangent curve con-
cave to the east having a radius of 1050 feet;.
thence southeasterly along said curve to its
intersection with the north line of L,ynwood Road,
as said Road is ahown on the map of sald Traet;
thence weaterly along said Lynivood Road, and its

weaterly prolongation to the southwesterly corner
of said Lot 11; thence northerly along the weat- �
erly line of said Lot 11, b the point'of beginn-
� ing; and reserving to the Grantor herein an easement
�� � for public road and highway purposes over the
� , Easterly 50 feet of Lots 9 and 11.
� Provided, however that the use.of said reserva-
tion shall not be effective until such .time as `
the Grantor herein obtains and develops a con-
tinuous right of way from Fernwood Avenue to
Lynwood Road and shall have caused to be vacated
that portion cf Penn Avenue and the first alley
?�Jest'thereof lying North oP Lynr�ood Road.
Also reserving to the Grantor an easernent for
public road and highway purpoges over all of
that portion of the land herein conveyed lying
