In th�e Matter of the Proposed Improvement of that
property in Tract 11862, Blocks °A° and ��B'�, Records of Los
4n�eles County, particizlarly bounded by Bullis Road on the weat,
Ernestine 9venue on the east, �,�lalnut Avenue on the south, and •
the property line 149.23 feet north of Platt Avenue on the north,
by constructing cu"rbs gutters and sidewalks completely around
said Block '�B" and from the aforesaid north property line around
Block '�A", along one side of Bullis Road, �Valnut .Avenue and Ern-
estine Avenue and on both sides of Platt Avenue within the above
described boundary.
Resolution Proposing to Institute 3mprovement Proceed-
ings and Directing Preparation of Report:
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Lynwood, Califoxr�a, as follows: �
` 1. That the public interest, convenience and
� necessity reqtxires, and the City Council of the City,
of Lynv;�ood proposes to institute proceedings for the
improver�ent hereinafter set forth. �
2. That the general nature, I.ocation and extent of .
such proposed improvement is as follows: th.e construction
of curbs, gutters and sidewallis along the streets and
alleys including all intersections of sa.id streets and alleys,
in'the County of Los Angelea, City of Lynwood, State of
California, to mit: Tra.ct 11862, Blocks °A" and °B°,
Records of said County, as bounded by sa.id Bullis Road
- on the R/est, Ernestine Avenue on the east, �"lalnut Avenue
on the south, and the property line 149.23 feet north of
Platt Avenue on the north. "

3, That the nature� location and extent of
such proposed improvement is particularly shovan on Plan �ap
No. / on file in the of'fice of the City Clerk of
the City of Lynwood, which plan is open ror inspection by
all interested persons and to which plan reference is
hereby made for all particulars relative to sa3d inprovement.
4. That the City Council of the City o£ Lynwooa pro-
poses to do the above work or improvement by contract, the
cost of ti�hich is to be paid by special assessment upon
bene£ited property; that the contractor shall furnish all
materials, labor, supplies and equipment necessary to do
the above work or improvement.
5. That ii is hereby determined that no part of the
cost of :said improvement is to be paid by the City of
Lynwood.
6. That the whole of the cost and expense of said
improvement is to be paid by special assessment upon bene-
fited properties.
7. That it is hereby determined that the Statute under
which it is proposed to conduct the proceedings f'or said
proposed improvement is that Act of the Legislature of the
State of California known and designated as the "Improvement
Act oi 1911� approved April 7, 1911 (Statutes of 1911,
page 730), and all acts amendaLory thereof and supplementary
thereto, with bonds to be issued as authorized under the
provisions of said Act, and that it is hereby determined
that it is proposed to adopt the alternative procedu,re set
out in 5ection 3A of said Act for the doing of the v+ork
authorized thereunder.
8. That the boundary or extent o� the district or lands
to be specially assessed to pay the costs of such proposed
improvement, or any part of such cost thereof, are described

as follows:
Tract 11862, Blocks "A" and t�B��, Hecords of
Los Angeles County, particularly bounded by Bullis
Road on the west, Ernestine Avenue on the east,
Walnut Avenue on the south, and the property line
1L�9.23 feet norih of Platt Avenue on the north.
9. That the City Er�ineer be and he is hereby
appointed, designated and ordered to prepare and deliver
to said City Council a written report upon the said pro-
posed improvement in the form prescribed by and in accord-
ance v�ith the provisions o£ the "Special Assessment
Investigation, Limitation and Majority Protest Act o£ 1931",
as amended.
Approved and adopted this 5th day of December, 1944•
