THEREIN.
Be it resolved by tlie City Council of the City of Lyn-
wood, California, as follows:
WHEREAS, the Clty Council of the City of Lynwood has
heretofore, on the 8th day of Anril , 1943 ac-
cepted the offer of Floyd F. Shephard and Clara D. Shephard,
husband and vaife as ,Joint tenants,
for the purchase of all of the right, title and interest of
the City of Lynwood in and to certain lands lying within
said City;
NOW, TH�;REFORE, the City Counci]. of the City of Lyn-
wood does hereby resolve, determine and order as follows;
Section l. That the City of Lynwood shall convey to
the said F2oyd r. Shephard anfl Cla�^a D. Shephard., hL�sband
and wife as �oint tenants,
said property hereinafter described, sub,�ect to conditions,
restrictions, reservations and easements of record.
That the City shall convey to saic� purchaser no other I
or greater title to said lands than has been acquired by
said City�
Section 2. That upon payment to the City of Lynwood of
the sum of Fotm Hundred and no/100 Dollars--------(�400.00)
the Mayor of the C1T,y of L,ynwood is hereby auth-
orized and directed to execute a deed of conveyance of cer-
tain land hereinafter described, conveying the same as aUove
speeified to Floyd F. Shephard and G7.ara D. Shephard, husband
and wife as joint tenants, •

Clerk of said City ie hereby authorized to Attest suid
deed And to af.fi�: the City serl of the City of Lynwcod
thereto, or, behalf of the said City of LynK�oorl. ,
Secticn 3. That the Ma.yor and City Clerk of said Cit,y,_
on behplf of said Ci.ty, are liereby authorized to ;,ign any
� eacrow apreement necessary to complete the tr3n�fer of said

Section 4. That the City C1erk oP said City is author-
ized to deliver e�id deed to th� grantee therein named, on
behe�lf of tile said Cit;� of Lynu�ood, as soon as, or upon con-
dition that tiie s�.id consideration shall have been paid to
