Be it resolved by the City Council of the City`
of' Lynwood, as fallows:

PlHERFAS, the City of �ynwood did on the lOth day of
' August 1943, enter into an Agreement with the goard of Sup-
ervisors of the County of Los Angeles, Stat'e of California�
subject to the approval of the State Controller of the
State of Calif'ornia, Eor the purchase by the City of Lynwood ,
' of the Statets Title to certain lands within �aid,Cit,y as
provlded by Section 380'7.5 of the Revenue and Taxation Code
of the State of California, pursuant Application No. 173,

' '° ' YJHEREAS, subsequent thereto, to-wit: On•.the 30th
�
day of October, 1943, two tax deeds were 3ssued to the City
of"Lynwood signed b� H. L. Byram, a.s Tax Collector of said
County of bos �nt;eles, conveying Lots 27, 28, 29, 30 and.31,
B1ock 19, Modjeska Park, and Lots 440, 442 and 443, Tract
2551, to said City of Lynwood, and '
TNHEREAS, it is now the.desire of the City of Lyni^rood to'
have said Aoreement terminated as affecting the Lots descri-
bed above as the City of T�ynwood have determined that said
Lots are necessary for use b� said Corpor�tion for Municipal
purposes,
NOVl, TH�REFORE, BE IT RP:SOLVED bg th.e Citg Counci�.
of the Cit� of Lynvaood that the Board of Supervisors of the

ted to terminate that part of the Agreement describe� above
as affacting the folloti^rin� Lots:

BE IT :�tiRTHER-RESOL�J�'r that the Mayor of the
Cit;� of Lynwood be and he is hereby authorized to execute '
Reconve,yances of Real Esta�e under the Provisi.ons of Sec-
' tion 3807.5 of the t2evenue and Taxatior. Cod.e for and on
behalf of the City of 'L,�nwood, reconveyina said Lots to
, the State of California.
BE IT FURTHER HESOLVED that the City Clerk shall
• certify to the adoption of this Resolution and cause tivo
certi£ied copies of said Resolution to be mailed to the
Honorable Board of Supervisors of Los Angeles County, to-

gether with/Reconveyance instrwnents. '
