A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF TAE
CITY OF LYNWOOD, CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING BID
FOR THE PURCHASE OF CITY OWNED TAX DEEDED
REAL PRUPERTY. � �
The City Council of the City of Lynwood, California,
does hereby resolve as follows:
That the City of Lynwood, California desires to sell
the City-owned tax deeded property hereinafter. described for the
purpose of getting said property back on the tax rolls and liqui=
dating so far as possible the existing taxes and assessment en-
cumbrances.of record now on said land:
THEREFORE bE IT RESOLVED, that the written bid of
Cyril B. Newton and Marie Newton
now on file with the City Clerk of the City of Lynwood, wherein
the bidder offers to purchase tk:e tax deeded property hereinafter
described upon the partial payment plan and which bid was in all
respects made in accordance vaith the provisions of Resolution Noe
1487 of the City of Lynwood, and which bid was publicly opened by
the C1ty Clerk at an ��rned remular meeting of the City Council, ,
upon the 28th day of _Au�uet 194 4, is the highest and
best bid for the sale of said lands. That said lands described
Sn said bid are as follotivs, to vrit:
Lot 41, Block 3, ModJeaka Park, aa per map recorded in
Book 9. pages 142 and 143, of Mape, Recorda oP Los Angelee
County, Csllfornia.
BE IT FUkTHEit HESOLVED, that the purchase price ofiered
for said lands is in the sum of �175.00 , pajable �17.50 accom-
panying bid, and �13.12, or more, on the 15th day of each month
beginning on the 15th day of 3eptember, 1944, and continuing until
• fully paid, plus intereat.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that it is for the best interest
, of the people of the City of Lynwood, California, to sell said �'
lands to said bidder for sald purchase price in accordanoe with
the terms of said bid:
NOW THEREFORE, it is further resolved, that the sa.id
bid for said lands is hereby accepted and the Mayor and City Clerk
of the City of Lynwood, Callfornia are hereby ezpressly authorized
to execute in duplicate, on behalf of the said City of Lynwood,
, California, a written contract for the sale of said lands to said
purchaser in accordance with and' by virtue of the authority Sn-
vested Sn them so to'do in Resolution No. 1487.
