Minutes of the Town Commission held on November 26th,1947
at the residence of the Mayor.
Present: Commissioners- W. Seward Webb, L. Seton L }ndsay
and W.m. J. Bauer.
Invited: James F. Riley
C. Y. Byrd
Mayor W. Seward Webb tendered his resignation as Mayor,
Commissioner. It was moved by Vice Mayor L.Seton Lindsay that
the resignation be accepted, seconded by Wm.J.Bauer. In
resigning Mr. Webb appointed Mr. L. Seton L.ndsay to act as
Mayor in his stead until the next election. �A Vice Mayor to
be appointed at a later date.
Many matters were discussed with Mr. Riley and Mr. Byrd,
relative tib improvements and services for the residents of
the Town.
Wm.J.Bauer reported that some cleaning up of streets in the
Town had been done and that the clean up work was to continue.
There being no further business to come before the meeting,
it adjourned.
