. Be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Lyn-
wood, as follows:
V'JHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Lynwood, Calif- I
ornia, did on the 18th day of April, 1944, adopt Resolution No.
1659 relating to the abatement of dry and drying weede on cer-
tain Lots in the City of Lynwood, a.nd .
� WHEREAS, due Ivotice wafi given to destroy euch weeds
by poeting ��Notice to Destroy Weeds" notices at not more than
100 feet in distance apart as required by la�v, and
�tiH�RE;AS, at the.time and place Pixed Por the hearing
of protests and ob�ections to said matter, a hearing vras duly
. heZd..and.no vrritten or. oral ob�ections_were made, either. in . _
cvriting or orally, to the doing of said work, and
Wf:ENEAS, the City Cou.ncil of the City of Lynwood has
considered all of the facts and is fully informed in the mat-
ters; that they have acquired ,jurisdiction to proceed. and per-
form the work of remova.l of sai d nuisances,
NOW, �1'IiEREFORE, BE I'1' RESOLVED, That the Street Sun-
erintendent of the Cit,y of Lynwood be and he is hereby instruc-
ted to abate the nuisancea described in said Re�olution No. '
1659_ by having the ti�eeds referred to rernove, and he and his
Assistants are hereby expressly avthorized to enter upon pri-
vate property for that purpose.�

BE IT FURTHEt� RESOLVFD that any property owners shall
have the right to have any such weed nuisance reeioved and a-
bated at his expense, provided such vaork is done prior,to
the time the work is done by the Street Superintendent. If the
ivork is done by the pnoperty owner, no charge shall be ma.de by
the City of Lym�+ood. ,
