A RESOLUTION dF THE CTTY COUNCIL OF `PriE CITY OF

, Be it re�solved by the City Council of the City of
Lynwood as follows:- �
- SECTION 1. That the public interest and convenience
require and it is the intention of the Clty Council of the City
�oP Lynwood to order the furniahing,_of, for a period commencing
July 1, 1944, and ending June 30, 1945, the service necessary to
maintain and illuminate by means of electrical energy the aue-
pended electrie street lampa of 250 and 600 candle power and 250
candle power lampa on ornamental standards in certain streeta in
the City of Lynwood within tYie district deacribed in 3ection 2
hereof and to be known as Lighting Maintenance District No. 14
r • of the City of Lynwood, in accordance with plana and apecificatione
�',' therefor, to be prepared, Purniahed and filed Vvith the City Clerk
of the City of Lynwood ae Yiereinafter provided.

California designated "An Act to provide for the maintenance by
municipalities of lighting systems along public atreets, alleys
and other public places and for the lighting thereof by electric
current, gas or other illuminating agent; and Por the asseas�ent �
oP the coste and expenses thereoP upon the property benefited and
the manner of collecting such easessments�� commonly known as the
°Street Lighting Act of 1919° and amendments theretoo approved
May 16, 1919.
