Be it resolved� by tYie City Councii of bhe Ci.�y of Lyn-
`wood, California, as follows:
WHEREAS, 'the City Council of `Lhe City oP Lynwood has
heretofore, on the 6th day of Apr21 , 194 3 ac-
cep'ted the offer of Eugene E. Gowers and Ri.�th E. Gowera,
husband and wife as ,joint tenante
for the purohase of'all of the rlght, bitle arid interest of
the City of Lyn�vood in and to 'certain lands lying within
said City;
NOW, THEREFORE, the City"Council of the City of Lyn-
wood"does hereby r.esolve;, determine and order as follows;
Section That the City of:Lynwood shall convey to
the said Eugene E. Gowers and Ruth E. Gowera, huaband
and wife aa �oint tenants
said property hereinafter described, sub,Ject to conditions,

restrictions,,reservations and easements�of record.
That the Gity shall convey,to sald purGhaser no other
or greater title to said lands than has been acquired by '
said City.
Section 2. That upon payment to the CTY,y of`Lynwood of
the sum of Three Hundred and no/00 Dollars f�300.00)
the Mayor of the City of Lynwood""is hereby auth-
orized and directed•to execute a•deed•of convegance of.cer-
tain land hereinafter described,.conv the same as above
specified to �gene E. GorJers and Ruth E. Gowers, huaband
and wife ae ,Joint tenants..

on behalf of the said City of Lynwood, and that the City
Clerk of said City ls hereby author�zed to attest said
deed and to affix the City se�l of the City of Lynwood
thereto on behalf of the said City of Lynwood. '
Section 3, That the Nlayor and City Clerk.of said City,
� on behalf of said City, are hereby au�thorized to sign any
escrow agreement necessary to complete the transfer of said
lands.
� Section 4. That the City Clerk of said City is author-
ized to deliver said deed to the grantee therein named, on
behalf of the said Citv of Lynwood, as soon as, or upon con-
dition that the said consideration shall have been paid to
said City.
' Section 5. The property conveyed by this agreement is �
described as follows, to wit;
Lots 66 and 67, Hlock 4, Mod�eaka Park� as
per map recorded in Book 9, Pap;es 142 and 143,
of Maps, Records of Loe Angeles County, Cftlifornia.
