THEREIN,..
Be it'resol'ved by the Ci'ty CounCil•of the,City of Lyn-
wood,. Califo.rnia, as foll�w,s:
WHEREAS, the,City Council of the City of Lynwood has
heretofore, on the 6th day of . July , 1943_, ac- .
cepted the offer of .8. H. Stevens and Mabel Stevens,
husband and wife as'�oint tenants, -
for.the purchase of all of the right, title attd interest of
the City of Lynwood in and:ta certain lands lying within
said City; �
� NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council,.of the City of Lyn-
wood does hereby resoloe,, dete.^mine and order as follows;.
Section 1, That, the City of.LynWOOd shall convey to
- the said 8. H. Stevene and Mabel 3tevens, husband and wife .
• as �oint tenanta,.
said property.hereinafter described, sub;ject to conditions,
restrictions, reservations and.easements of record� and
aub�ect to assessments and bonds of record.
That the Gity shall convey to said purahaser no other
or gneater.title;to said lands than has been acquired by
said City.
Section 2. That.upon payment to the City of Lynwood of
the sum of Two Hundred Dollar.s and no/100 cents (�200,00)

the Mayor of:the City of Lynwood is hereby auth- '
ori2ed and directed.to execute a deed of.conveyance of cer-
tain land hereinafter described,..convaying the sama as above
specified to 8, H. Stevena and A�abel Stevena, hueband and
wife as ,joint tenants,

on behalf of the said City of Lynu=ood, and that the City
Clerk of said City is hereby author�zed to attest said
deed and to affix the City se�l of the Ci�ty of Lynwood
thereto, on behaYf of the said City of Lynwood.
Section 3. That the Mayor and City Clerk of said City,
on behalf of sald City, are hereby authorized to sign any
escrow agreement necessary to complete the transfer of said
lands.
Section 4. That the City Clerk of said City is author-
ized to deliver said deed to the grantee therein nrimed, on
behalf of the said City of Lynwood, as soon as, or upon con-
dition that the sAid consideration shall have been paid to
said City.
' Section 5. The property conveyed by this agreement is
described as follows, to wit;
' Lot 19, Licenaed 8urveyor'e map, a.s per map
recorded in Book 16, Page 37, of l�aps, Recorda
of Loe Angelea Count,y, California
