AND PHE EXECUTIOid OF A DEED '.

` THEREIN.
Be it resolyed 6y the City, Council of the City.of Lyn-
urood, California, as- follows: •
WFIEREAS, the City Council'of the City'of Lynwood has
�heretofore,.on the _.17th' day of Au¢ust �_, 194.3' ac-
cepted the offer of Tnomas E.. Shook and Viola P. Shook;
husband and wife e.s Joint Tenanta,
for the purchase of all of the right, title'and interest'of
the City of Lynwood in and to certain lands lying within
said City;
. NOW, THEREFORE, the Gity'Council of the City of Lyn-
wood does hereby resoloe, determine and order as follows:
, Seotion That the City of Lynwood shall convey to
the said Thomas E. Shook and Viola P. Shook, husband and
wife as Joint Tenants,
said property hereinafter described, sub�eot to conditions,
restrictions, reservations and easements of record,
That the City sha11 convey to said purchaser no other
or greater title to said lands than has been acquired by
said City.
Section 2. That upon payment to the City of Lynwood of
Lhe sum of Four Hundred and no/100 Dollars-----(�400.00)
the Mayor of the City of liynvuood Ss hereby autli-
orized and directed to execute a deed of conveyance of cer-
tain land hereinafter descrlbed', conveying the same as above
specified to Thomas E. Shook and Viola P. Shook, husband and
wiPe a.s Joint Tenants.

Section 3. That the P�Iayor and City Clers of said Cit,y,
on behalf of said City, �re hereby authorized to sign any
escrow agreement necessary to complete the transfer of said
lands.
Section 4, 'Pha.t the Clty Clerk of.said City ie author-
ized to deliver said deed to the grantee therein named, on
behalf of the said Citv of Lynwood, as soon as, or upon con-
dition that the said consideration shall have been paid to
said City, ,
' Section 5. The property conveyed by this agreement is
described as follov��s, to �vit:
Lot 1141, Tract 3025, as ner map recorded in
, Hook 35, Pa.p;es 43 and 44 of I�aps, Records of
Los Angeles County, Callfornia.
